Look younger & revitalized. Eliminate frown lines. Eliminate crows feet. Lift the brows.

Botox is a neurotoxin that is injected directly into facial muscles to prevent the muscle from moving for a limited time. These shots are often used to smooth wrinkles on the face. At Infinity Skin Care patients keep coming back to our premier aesthetic facility because they love the natural results they're getting. Our expert providers always stay up-to-date on cutting edge Botox treatment techniques. We're proud to offer the most advanced Botox treatments available backed by expertise you can trust.

When considering Botox for the first time, the question many potential clients have for us is “How many units of Botox do I need?” To answer this question, it's essential to understand that Botox injections are not a one-size-fits-all solution. Several factors come into play, including the specific area being treated, your individual needs, and desired results.

Glabellar lines

The area between your eyebrows is a common spot for Botox injections, specifically aimed at reducing frown lines or “11’s”. Glabellar lines can be quite stubborn, so a moderate amount of Botox is usually recommended. (20-30 units)

Forehead lines

Forehead muscles are generally quite strong and dynamic, hence why forehead lines often become so prominent. They typically require a higher number of Botox units for effective treatment. Generally, the range could be anywhere from 10 to 30 units, depending on the individual needs and the depth of wrinkles.

Crows feet

Crows feet are the fine lines that appear around the corner of your eyes when you smile or squint. These lines generally require fewer Botox units because the muscles in this area are less robust than those in the forehead. The typical range for treating crows feet could be between 5 to 15 units per side.

Bunny lines

Bunny lines, which appear on the side of your nose when you laugh or smile, also require a careful approach. The units needed for this area can range between 10 to 20 units.

Gummy smile, or Lip flip

Botox can be used to correct a gummy smile which is when you show the pink of your gums when smiling. Botox relaxes the muscles that get pulled up while you smile therefore showing less gums when you smile. The lip flip uses precise injections above or around the lips to help make your lips look more full when smiling these areas can range from 10 to 15 units.

Masseter Botox

Botox injections in the masseter muscle serve both cosmetic and medical purposes. Cosmetically, this treatment is often sought to achieve a slimmer jawline and facial appearance, as it can reduce the size of the masseter muscle overtime. Medically, it is used to treat conditions like TMJ which can cause jaw pain and dental issues. The number of units needed can vary from person to person, but generally it ranges between 20 to 50 units per masseter muscle, depending on the individuals muscle size and desired outcome.

  • Infinity Skin Care uses the most advanced technology for laser hair removal! The Lutronic clarity II is a laser hair removal device that uses a combination of alexandrite and NG YAG wave lengths to target hair follicles. The melanin in the hair absorbs the light energy, which then transforms into heat and damages the hair follicle walls, stem cells, and dermal papillae. This can damage and render the hair follicle inactive for many years or indefinitely. The clarity II laser can treat all hair types including fine hair, and is more effective at killing follicles than any other laser which can result in fewer treatments. The Lutronic clarity II laser is also the fastest hair removal laser available offering quick painless treatments!

24 hours prior to your first laser hair removal appointment you should shave the desired area. Avoid waxing, plucking or any hair removal products two weeks prior to your first laser hair removal appointment.

  • Dermaplaining is a treatment that instantly and visibly removes fine hair and layers of old makeup and dead skin cells which helps reveal glowing, youthful skin. Dermaplaining can help your skin care products to absorb more effectively and even help make up go on more smoothly.

You may consider dermaplaining if you have skin concerns such as acne scars, dull or dry skin, peach fuzz, skin damage by sun exposure, fine lines and wrinkles.

In certain cases, dermaplaining may not be a good idea. For example, if you have active acne, cold sore outbreaks, eczema, psoriasis, skin burns, or skin rashes you should avoid dermaplaining until those issues are resolved.

Your dermaplaning appointment on average will last 30 to 45 minutes. During this appointment you can expect your provider will gently scrape away the top layer of your skin, using a scalpel with short, feather like strokes.

Sounds intense, but dermaplaning is not painful, because the exfoliation is so superficial, and the tool barely presses against your skin.

Post dermaplaining care involves avoiding direct sun exposure, limit make up use, skip harsh skin care products, and apply gentle moisturizers. Even though the treatment is fairly gentle and doesn’t hurt, you’re still losing a very thin layer of skin, so your face will be more sensitive to the sun and slightly more susceptible to sun damage.

Though it’s tempting to test the smooth results of dermaplaning right away, try to avoid putting on a full face of make up immediately after your dermaplaning treatment. It is good to let the skin breathe for the rest of the day. If you need to wear make up, you can, but your skin barrier is more open, and may become more irritated.

Contrary to what you’ve been told, dermaplaining and shaving, will not make your hair, grow back, thicker or darker, or create any stubble. Once your hair begins to grow back, it may feel a little different because the angle at which the hair was shaved off, but it’s actually the same thickness and texture as it always was, and it will continue to grow at the same speed as it always did.

  • Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy. This is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a handheld device with tiny needles to create microscopic punctures in the skin. The punctures trigger the body to produce collagen and elastin to heal, which can improve skin texture and firmness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other signs of aging. Microneedling can be done with serums or using PRF, a product that is extracted from your own blood.

    Microneedling using PRF.

Micro needling with platelet rich fibrin is a skin treatment that combines micro needling with PRF, a substance derived from a patient's own blood. PRF is a natural substance that doesn't contain chemicals or anticoagulants which can help reduce the risk of adverse reactions or allergies. The growth factors in PRF are released over a longer period of time than other substances, which can result in longer lasting benefits. During the appointment your blood will be drawn in two vials. Your blood will then be spun in a centrifuge and the PRF will be extract and used during the treatment.

Treatments can be performed every month and are encouraged to be done in a series of three for best outcomes.

  • Telangietasias, commonly known as spider veins are dilated or broken blood vessels near the surface of the skin. These can often be seen on the face, on the nose, cheeks and chin, but they can also appear on other parts of the body, such as the legs and around the ankles. The Lutronic clarity II laser at Infinity Skin Care can effectively treat these broken capillaries and blood vessels. The laser targets the blood vessel then uses heat which causes them to close up and reduce an appearance and even disappear.

  • PRF injections under the eyes.

    What is PRF?

PRF stands for platelet rich fibrin. PRF is a filler treatment that uses a portion of your own bodies blood. Compared to PRP, PRF has a higher concentration of platelets, fibrin, and white blood cells. PRF also contains a small amount of stem cells.

    How does PRF work?

Each component of PRF plays a role in reversing the aging process. Platelets encourage the release of growth factors responsible for creating new skin cells, collagen, and blood vessels. Because of the presence of white blood cells, it is believed that the growth factors are released at a much slower rate than they are with PRP, and thus prolong the results from the PRF treatment.

The growth factors released from PRF treatment help to signal your body to “act young” and reverse signs of aging like thin skin, wrinkles, poor texture and tone, and improve the appearance of dark circles under the eyes.

Why PRF for under eye treatment?

The under eye area has become one of the most popular targets for PRF treatment, and is also one of the most successful areas. After 3 treatments spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart, patients report improved discoloration under the eye as well as improved skin quality in the under eye area.

The under eye area is one of the first places in the face to age for many people. It is one of the most challenging areas that needs caution, experience, and in many cases surgery to improve. PRF provides a very safe non-surgical option to treat the under eye. While hyaluronic acid filler is a great option for the under eye, hyaluronic acid by nature, attracts water, which can cause worsening puffiness in specific patience, and can make the ice area look worse. PRF provides an option that usually does not cause problems with swelling long-term and is also a natural choice since it uses your own body’s healing properties to create improvement in the texture of the skin and in discoloration.

PRF, under eye filler is considered a natural aesthetic treatment because it uses your own stem cells and growth factors. PRF treatment improves under eye, pigmentation and skin thickness/firmness/texture, while providing very subtle subdermal volume the results from PRF provide a radian, in more useful appearance, without the risk of puffiness or fluid retention.

What to expect during PRF under eye treatment.

At your treatment visit please make sure you are well hydrated. We will draw two vials of blood, which is then placed inside a centrifuge. After spinning, the PRF becomes separated from the other blood components, and is withdrawn from the top of the vial. You can expect that your appointment takes about 45 minutes.

What to expect after your PRF under eye treatment.

After treatment, it is not uncommon to experience under eye swelling or bruising. You may experience under eye fullness for 3 to 5 days after injection, and sometimes a yellowish discoloration to the skin until the PRF dissipates. Results of your treatment start to become noticeable at the 1 to 2 month mark, as the structures and collagen under the eye continue to build. Most PRF injections have no discomfort afterwards.

How often can I receive PRF under eye injections?

We recommend a series of 3 PRF treatments approximately one month apart for best results. Once you begin to see the results of your treatment, yearly maintenance is recommended.

How long does PRF under eye treatment last?

It usually takes about 4 to 8 weeks for initial results to appear after PRF injections. Results continue to improve for about 3 to 6 months after injection. Most results will last about 1.5 years after your last injection. Therefore, we recommend a yearly maintenance injection after your series is completed.

  • Laser Genesis is a laser treatment technology that uses the heat from the laser to stimulate collagen, reduce fine lines, improve skin texture, and minimize pore size. Laser Genesis treatments are typically performed through a series of 6 to 8 treatments for optimal results. Overtime these treatments will reduce fine lines and wrinkles, redness associated with acne or rosacea, general skin rejuvenation, feed dark spots and decrease pore size. Laser Genesis treatment is sometimes called a lunch break procedure the treatment takes about 30 minutes and there is no downtime after one session you will notice your skin looks brighter and more useful.
